Montessori Compass has released a free new Mobile App for iOS (Iphone and IPad) and Android devices.

The Android app is available on Google Play and the iOS version is in the Apple App Store.

This initial version of the mobile app is designed to serve as a companion to Montessori Compass’ full-featured Web-based application. It provides convenient mobile access to Compass’ parent communication features. Messaging, Photos, and Calendar are currently available. Activity Reports are coming soon.

Hopefully, this will make it a bit easier for busy parents to stay engaged with our school, without having to log in to the parent portal via your mobile browser.

We use a few online solutions at NewGate.

Montessori Compass is used to record student progress and send out weekly reports from the Toddler House through Upper Elementary.

We use another solution, Hubbli, as a private online community. Most of our newsletters from the school or classes are sent through Hubbli as both emails as discussion threads to which you can respond.

BTW, the Upper School (Secondary grades 7-12) typically communicates with students through Google Classroom.

Normally your username is the email you provided us at school. You can always reset your password. To protect your privacy, you need to log in to access previous information or reports.

With the first App coming out from Montessori Compass, this should become more convenient than ever. We encourage you to download the App and install it on your smartphone or tablet.
