The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) sponsors an annual art competition open to students in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

The art show challenges public and private students in Sarasota and Manatee counties to create unique works of art and submit them for the opportunity to win a coveted space on the wall of SRQ Airport’s ticketing area. The top 100 pieces are selected by a panel of art professionals from Sarasota/Bradenton who serve as judges. The works of art are evaluated on originality, technique, execution, and visual impact

We are thrilled to announce that six NewGate students from Roberta Schlesinger’s art classes were selected to have their work displayed in the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport Exhibition for the 2015 calendar year.
